While rooms were small, they were pretty new inside. Hotel overall was in really good shape and the staff was very helpful and friendly. On site dining was exceptionally good. Location is also perfect. Parking is slightly challenging on the arrival as the garage entrance is behind the hotel. Would gladly stay again.

Stayed there for only one night. Comfy beds, very clean. Would like a better alcohol selection in the lobby though:) The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great experience.

This hotel is very cloth to the cathedral, the town centre or all the sightseeing itineraries are within walkable distance. The hotel restaurant provides a good quality food, the staffs are friendly. If I come back to Freiburg, I’ll definitely stay here again.

An excellent choice when visiting the old city of Freiburg. Clean, modern, with excellent service staff. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have encountered. Within walking distance of the Cathedral and a great view of the Schlossburg. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. Convenient bakery that serves breakfast in the Galeria attached to the hotel. I highly recommend the Mercure.

Mercure in Freiburg is conveniently located near the old city and university. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. There is a restaurant and bar on site, but they had very limited hours.

Great location right beside the cathedral and main shops etc. Does everything ok like Mercures do. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. A bit dark décor otherwise good.
